Cape San Blas is 20 miles long with 10 miles being St Joe State Park. Barrier Dunes sits right next to the park. The Cape is 1 mile across at it widest point. There are places on the road where you can see both The Gulf of Mexico and the Bay. The Bay is great for some of the water sports. It is calmer and warmer.There are miles and miles of beautiful beach for you to walk on. Bon fires are permitted on the beach.
This is old Florida. There are no high rises on the Cape. The beaches are the sugary white sand, pet friendly and very uncrowded. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, this is the place for you.
