Barrier Dunes is a gated community. It reminds me of Cape Cod. There are wooden walkway thru out leading you to the amenities and other townhouses.
There are 3 stock man made ponds, 2 lighted tennis courts, children's playground and 2 swimming pool (one is beach front and the other is solar heated). Barrier Dunes also has a beach front clubhouse that can be rented for special events.
Barrier Dunes is very pet friendly and there are pet stations thru out. Dogs are allowed on the beach.
I think you will find the community friendly and laid back. You may want to return year after year as many of my guests have.
