Comments from a guest:
We did the horsebacking riding and had a blast. My husband and son went deep sea fishing in Indian Pass at St. Vincent Island fishing charters. For 2 1/2 hrs (min of 4) IT WAS $35 ea, $7 ea if you use there poles, and bait was included. They will also clean the fish for you and price depends on the size of the fish. They had fun and caught a few sharks as well. The website is www.stvincentisland.com 850-229-1065. I left a brochure n the refrigerator door. I found it at the Outriggers store next to the Piggly wiggly in port st. joe. If you can, you might want to get a hold of a current phone book. The one is the place is 2003 and some numbers are no longer in service anymore. If your guest are looking for large shells, they might want to go Salinas Park in the front of the Cape by the fire station. The shells are huge. A lot of the ones at barrier dunes seemed picked over. We did have a chance to go to St. Joseph Peninsula Park and were able to catch 12 blue crabs and 1 scallop. Once we got the kids ok with walking in the sea grass and looking where they were going, it was a blast. There were a lot of hermit crabs as well in the bay. The seacoast grill restaurant was out of this world. We went on line at the townhouse and looked over some menus of places before we decided. My husband has wireless and was able to use it in the townhouse. The nice thing about the restaurant is they let you call ahead for a reservation and we didn't have to wait at all. This is the first place where all of the kids loved their food.
